Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Defining constitution and rules about foreign exchange regime; fulcrum of foreign exchange regime; 1567 TPKK; No:32 rule; 1-M circular; explaining taxes and funds about foreign trade; VRHİB; postponement and abandonment system; border trade; suitcase trade; GITES (Input Supply System); transit trade regime; free zones; inward processing regime; investment support rules (2012/3305); sectorial foreign trade businesses; foreign trade capital companies; statue documents A-B-C groups.
Course Content: At the end of this course the student will be able to:
• Explain foreign trade with dimensions of application
• Understand the fundamentals of money movements in foreign trade.
• Know how to earn foreign exchange from services and applications
• Know how money transfer system works according to rules and how to use laws.
• Know which taxes are taken from foreign trade and their application.
• Understand how border trade works.
• Understand how luggage trade applications work
• Know how in-put supply system works
• Understand how tax system works in export applications.

Program Outcomes
1) Sufficient knowledge in mathematics, science and engineering related to their branches; and the ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge in these areas to model and solve engineering problems.
