Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: During the course, students learn what drama is, basic concepts of drama, history of drama, differences between drama and theatre, play, psychodrama etc., stages of drama, drama techniques, drama in practice, benefits of drama, using drama as a teaching method in curriculum.
Course Content: Definition of drama, history of drama. the relationship between drama and children's developmental areas, drama ve children's play, the activities which drama consists, appropriate drama methods for children who are in early childhood period, drama programmes in education.
