Course Objectives: | It is tought that what basic accounting information is - the concept of accounts, assets, liabilities, profits and equity concepts and preparation of the Basic Financial Statements. Students in this way can be prepared for financial analysis and interpretation of financial statements. |
Course Content: | Definition of accounting; functions and its place and importance in business organization; basic equation of accounting; financial statements; documents used in accounting; books used in accounting; account concept in accounting; grouping and operation rules; account plan and single order account plan application; accounting practice in our country: current assets, non-current assets, foreign resources, equity and income-expense accounts and accounting records; applications of monographs. |
