Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It is the transfer of basic theoretical and practical knowledge that qualified communication specialists experienced in the health sector, which is one of the basic markets developing rapidly in our country, should possess.
Course Content: Definition of health, definition and structural analysis of the health sector, identification of the actors and stakeholders of the health sector, health sociology and communication relationship, and information on social benefit and awareness in the context of this relationship.

1) Getting to know the health sector, the development of the ability to look sociologically for the preservation and sustainability of social health.

1) To be able to combine knowledge about current issues related to health communication with those learned in theoretical framework.

1) Critical approach to the information provided in the field of health communication, proposing and implementing change proposals, determining the learning needs for it and reaching the goals by planning.

1) Collection and interpretation of data related to health communication. To act in accordance with ethical and scientific values related to the field of health.

1) Being able to carry out an advanced study independently in the area of health communication, to be able to produce for social awareness. Being able to take responsibility as individual and team members to solve crisis communication problems.
