Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To give the students the principles of explosive engineering in construction works such as road, tunnel, dam, foundation excavation and building demolition.
Course Content: Application areas of blasting, blasting excavation terminology, industrial explosives, drilling machinery and equipment, rock mechanics and blasting, blasting mechanism, benc blasting, tenchblasting, tunnel blasting, blasting design, blasting building demolition technique, blasting environmental problems, controlled blasting, safety
