Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The purpose of this course is to analyze the phases of Turkish Foreign Policy since the Independence War and outline its main characteristics. The developments related to the foreign policy will be evaluated within the context of domestic socio-economic developments.

Course Content: Turkey's place in the international arena since the Second World War, Turkey's conflicts and cooperation with other countries, Turkey-EU relations, current issues in Turkish foreign policy, evolution of Turkish foreign policy

Program Outcomes
1) Adequate knowledge in mathematics, science and engineering subjects pertaining to the relevant discipline; ability to use theoretical and applied information in these areas to model and solve engineering problems.
