Course Objectives: | The focus of this course is to provide understanding on engineering economic principles and methods and to apply it in food engineering field. |
Course Content: | The field of Food Engineering Economics is concerned with the systematic economic analysis of food preservation, food manufacturing and food ingredients plant in relation to a number of representative food processes. The economic analysis of food plant requires the evaluation of the quantitative data from the design and operation of food processes and processing plants. |
