Course Objectives: |
The aim of this course is to teach the students particularities of the operating room, the equipments used during operations, and the hierarchic system of the room. They should learn how to prepare, how to wash and how to use the particular equipments. They are supposed to develop their skills on the issues such as preparations of the patients fort he surgery as well as the preperations of the equipment |
Course Content: |
Operation and organization of Sterilization unit, Preparation of patient's surgery, Preparation in operation before surgery, Preparation of surgery team, Instrumentation, Surgical instruments and massage line, Patient's positioning, Patient's skin cleansing and painting, Operation to ensure the functioning of the system during operation and to establish a safe working environment, to operate instruments, needles, sewing and textile materials etc. counting and casting, patient cleaning at the end of the surgery, wound closure, preparation of the patient after surgery and transplantation, cleaning and disinfection of the operating room at the end of the operation, postoperative recording procedures and other things to do |
