Course Objectives: | This course, after making a general definition of the concept of culture, is a comparative study of the structure of the cul- ture that varies in different societies according to time and place. The ultimate destination of the lesson is that every cul- ture is in some way in contact with other cultures, that is, the "cultural hybridity" of the subject. |
Course Content: | At the end of this course the student: • Acquires the theoretical knowledge about culture-nature distinction. • Has the idea of relationships between different cultures and reciprocal shopping • Internalizing an ethical knowledge by understanding the value that other cultures have for themselves and moving away from cultural prejudices. • Acquires theoretical knowledge of the hybrid character of cultural history. • Develops the ability to understand cultural history as a philosophical concept |
