Course Objectives: | This derste aims to evaluate the main differences between "curator" and "art manager", to define the concept of "curatorial" with examples, to evaluate the role of curator in the formation of an exhibition, and the present approaches to the concept of curatorial and collective history and curatorship. |
Course Content: | At the end of this course the student: • Describe the concepts of curator and art manager and explain the concept of curator by examining the basic differences between them • To learn the nature and nature of curatorial practices by examining early examples • Identify and identify the relationship between the development of curatorial practices and the dynamics of the social process • explain the development of curatorial practice in Turkey and evaluate • To compare and evaluate curatorial practices in different fields and contents • Constructing the process of submitting the work of art to the audience • To organize the exhibition design and to analyze the transformation stages of the space • To interpret art exhibitions, objectives, differences in display and goals • To practice art exhibitions from a perspective of exhibition techniques |
