Course Objectives: | The historical development process of the Contemporary Turkish Art, which started with the influence of the westernization process in the Ottoman Empire, will be explained. |
Course Content: | • To introduce the modern history of art in Turkey • To introduce the contemporary history of art in Turkey • To recognize modern visual artist in Turkey • To recognize contemporary visual artist in Turkey • To discuss the evolution of Art in Turkey from the westernization period |
