Course Objectives: | The main objective of this course is to teach advanced Project Management topics in compliance with “Building Information Management” standards, Tools and techniques for “Analysis and synthesis of information, organization, asset and project requirements”, “Information Modelling”, “People and process interoperability and the common data environment (CDE)”, “Integrated Project Delivery” are given according to the recommendations of relevant buildingSMART and The ISO 19650 series standards. |
Course Content: | What is a Project? Technology supported Project Management. Modelling, information modelling and Project Information Models. “Building Information Management (BIM)”. Building as an “Asset” and building construction as a set of interoperability solutions including people, processes and data. Standards and tools for use in an interoperable Project Management Environment. Relationships between and ontology of common data environment and Project Information Model. |
