Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course highlights the importance and role of software product management. It also provides an overview of the specialization, as well as its goals, structure, and expectations. The course explains the value of process, requirements, planning, and monitoring in producing better software.
Course Content: Software reuse, SPLE methods, domain engineering, application engineering, commonality and variability analysis, variability modeling, reference architecture, application architecture, software product portfolio management, software product line scoping, testing in SPLE, organization structures for SPLE, risks of SPLE, adoption strategies for SPLE.
