Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course will cover the family, the family life cycle, healthy and unhealthy families, the marriage and family counseling process, and theoretical approaches to marriage and family counseling.
Course Content: Basic concepts and principles in family counseling, systemic family structure, functional-nonfunctional family structure, family life cycle, family counseling theories and their reflection on family counseling; stages of family counseling process, marriage and divorce, divorce effects on children.
