Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to make the history of the three major religions, the history of the Middle East region, which is the scene of many important conflicts in the history, from the end of the Ottoman Empire and the continuation of the two world wars between Britain and France and the continuation of the conflict between the Arab and Israeli conflicts. it is to examine.
Course Content: Historical origins of Middle Eastern society and culture; ecological, cultural and socioeconomic diversity, political history of the modern Middle East and integration of the region to the world economy and global power balance; colonial donemi, mass politics, nationalism, and the construction of the nation-state, citizenship, development, and Turkey, in addition to gender issues, Iran, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Israel, the Gulf countries and Saudi Arabia as today from the 19th century, the Middle East countries comparative foreign and domestic policy dates.

1) Learn which concepts and theories in sociology are used in production of knowledge and how the knowledge produced is grounded in social reality.
2) Learn which sociological approaches and methods of analysis are used in which sociological fields and areas of specialization, and present and publish the original findings from these analyses, both individually and in teams, in accordance with academic principles.
3) Discuss critically cause and effect relationships used in sociological perspectives; thereby formulate visions, aims and targets by identifying gaps in the existing knowledge in their areas of interest.
