Course Objectives: | To examine the role of complementary and native treatment methods in terms of health and to define the effects of native treatment methods for selected clinical conditions. To increase the awareness and understanding of students so that they can recommend complementary medicine treatments more safely, to gain basic concepts, knowledge and practices in complementary and native medicine approaches. |
Course Content: | In the traditional and complementary medicine elective board, it is aimed to give period III students a general knowledge and attitude regarding the knowledge of the legislation related to traditional and complementary medicine practices, recognition of their applications, counting the side effects and contraindications, where and when these methods can be used |
