Course Objectives: | The aim of the integrated study to be carried out independently in the scope of these disciplines defined in the curriculum as a graduate thesis is to provide the necessary knowledge, skills and developments in all the disciplinary fields constituting the whole of the 4 year education and training in the architecture department independently of the architects international-national (MIAK) criteria and that it reaches a work that proves that it "reaches the expected professional level". |
Course Content: | The course aims to look at the interaction and analogy between drawings and written words. Taking writing and drawing as an interpretive process of thoughts, architecture is not only buildings but also in texts both structurally and contextually. Within this point of view, the course focuses on reading and writing texts on architecture in different structures, contents and styles. To emphasize the importance of reading and writing on architecture as an inseparable part of design and to improve the reading and writing habits/capacities of students are the main expected outcomes of the course. |
