Course Objectives: | Critical interpretation the formal evolution of cities and settlements within the context of natural, geographical, socio-cultural, economic, political, aesthetic, functional and other possible factors. Exploring planning urban design and architectural dimensions of the urban form. |
Course Content: | This course explores the development, change, continuity of the city and settlement systems and their formal reflections throughout the history. It explores different philosophies, theories and practices in the creation of the urban environment in the historical context. |
