Course Objectives: | Research into different areas within the scope of environmental psychology will be examined in terms of how the influence of physical setting on behavior is bounded up with social aspects of the setting. Moreover, cultural, psychological and functional influences on person-environment relations will be concerned by giving emphasis on related design examples and possible design solutions. |
Course Content: | This course introduces students to the foundation critical issues on the understanding of person-environment transactions. The environment that we are going to refer throughout this course involves physical, social and built environments and their implications for design. |
