Course Objectives: | It is aimed to equip architect candidates who will intervene directly or indirectly with architectural heritage with basic information about urban identity and authenticity. |
Course Content: | In this context, the student participates on the subject through the examples selected under the titles of the definition of Culture, the parameters of the culture, the cultural borders, the means of cultural transmission, the idea of the city, the city culture, the urban society, the historical continuity, the new principles of the 18th century city form, the identity of the city and the authenticity of the city. The course is carried out with discussions. |
