Course Objectives: | Art sociology explores sociological research of art. This course will focus on how artists are influenced by social and political events and how they work to influence society and the political. |
Course Content: | I. The sociological and political dimension of art is learned. II. It shows how artists feed on sociological events. III. It is shown how artists construct their art as a critical tool in the face of social and political events. |
