Course Objectives: | This course; Beyond providing physical care for the patient and the family in order to improve the psychosocial skills of the students, they are able to manage different behaviors and emotions in general patient care, to recognize psychiatric symptoms and to intervene. Each issue includes interdisciplinary management and community-based care information, including etiology, assessment, age-specific effects, nursing diagnosis and intervention, patient / family education, pharmacology. |
Course Content: | Meeting and discussion of course content Introduction to the concept of psychosocial care -Hospital Compliance Process Adaptation process in acute and chronic diseases -Upperative process stages Psychosocial problems in adjustment process of the patient Psychosocial care in anger management Psychosocial care in anxiety management Psychosocial care in a patient whose body image changes Psychosocial care in mood disorders and psychotic thought process Psychosocial care for the lost and desperate individual and family Psychosocial care in organic mental disorders Psychosocial care in sexual dysfunction Psychosocial care in spiritual needs Psychosocial care in family problems Cultural care practices |
