Course Objectives: |
The main purpose of the course is to introduce students to fundamental concepts of law of obligations. In that regard, after explaining the concept of obligation, sources of obligations namely contracts, tort and unjust enrichment will be covered. Contract law will be the main focus of the course and contract formation, validity of contracts, performance, non-performance and dissolution of contracts are the topics that are going to be discussed throughout the semester. Most common type of contracts will also be explained |

The place and development of the law of obligations in law, the concept of debt, the subject and the parties of the debt, the principles governing the law of obligations, debt and liability: the concept of responsibility, the responsibilities of the debt, the debts arising from the legal transaction, the contract and its establishment, the conditions of validity of the contract, invalidity, Representation, adaptation of the contract to changing conditions, Obligations arising from tort, Expiration of Debts, Non-execution of Debt, Renewal of Debt, Special Debt Relations, Assignment of Debt / Debt Transit |
