Course Objectives: | The texts chosen from Anglo-Saxon literature representing the movements of the 20th Century cultural changes enabling the students to havea backgound knowledge about how to analyzethose texts so that they can translate them accordingly. |
Course Content: | The 20th Century movements are discussed. Such texts are chosen to examine how those cultural, philosophical, and social differences are reflected in those texts. Analyzing those texts enables the students to see how cultural changes are essential for evaluating those texts. For translating such texts in subsequent courses, students are required to read those texts with literary awareness and appreciation. |
