Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives:	The aim of this course is to provide discuss the determinants of health, classify epidemiological research methods, plan an epidemiological study, could sort out what should be done in an outbreak situation, explain the epidemiological criteria and be able to review the epidemiology of major diseases.
Course Content:	. Uses of Epidemiology • Epidemiological Approach to Diseases • Describing Health and Disease Related Events • Research Types and Characteristics • The criteria used in epidemiology • Hospital Epidemiology • Epidemiological criteria in hospital • Analysis
