Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The purpose of this course is to providing information about the sterilization method to promote infection control and to prevent hospital infections.
Course Content: • Define the infection.
• Define the common infectious diseases
• Identify characteristic of hospital infection
• Describe ways of protection from hospital infection
• Describe and discuss prevention efforts against hospital infections
• Describe and discuss the methods of sterilization
• Describe and discuss the characteristics of sterilization, antisepsis, disinfection
• Describe and discuss the quality control of sterilization methods
