Specific Admission Requirements

It is appropriate for students who have graduated from "Child Development Undergraduate Programs" of universities to apply to Istanbul Okan University, Graduate Education Institute, Child Development and Education Master's Program with Thesis without taking scientific preparation courses.
Individuals who have graduated from Psychology, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Special Education, Preschool Teaching and other undergraduate programs deemed appropriate by the institute board of directors are admitted to the master's program with thesis, provided that they complete the scientific preparation program.
In order to apply for the "Master with Thesis" program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 2.5 out of 4, an ALES score of not less than 55 from the "Equal Weight" type, and be successful in the interview.
The overall grade of the candidates is calculated by taking 50% of the ALES grade, 30% of the score out of 100 in the interview evaluation and 20% of the undergraduate grade point average.
