Qualification Requirements and Rules

In measuring the student's success in the course, midterm and final exams, as well as reports, assignments, tests, seminar presentations and project studies are used. This grade must be at least 65 out of 100 in order for the student to be successful in the related course. The student can register for the courses he / she has failed in the following year or other graduate courses approved by the advisor. In addition, the courses can be selected from the equivalent courses offered in different programs or in other higher education institutions in the same or different Institutions, with the recommendation of the relevant Department / Department Presidencies and the approval of the Board of Directors, and the acceptance of the Board of Directors of the opposite Institution and Institute. Seminar course and thesis work are non-credit according to local credit system and evaluated as successful or unsuccessful. The student has to register for the thesis study every semester starting from the beginning of the third semester at the latest. Thesis defense exam is done within 2 months following the delivery of the thesis. However, this period can be reduced to 3 semesters by the decision of the Board of Directors for the students who have exemption from the course according to the 47th article or determined by their advisor who can submit their thesis in a shorter time. A student in the master's program with thesis must write the results obtained in accordance with the rules set by the relevant committee and verbally defend his thesis before the jury. After the completion of the thesis exam, the jury makes the “mostly” acceptance, “rejection” or “correction” decision about the thesis. The student whose thesis is rejected is dismissed from the Institute. The student, who has decided to correct his thesis, re-defends his thesis before the same jury by doing what is necessary within three months. At the end of this defense, the student whose thesis is not accepted is dismissed from the Institute.
