General Information

%30 of the courses in our undergraduate program is conducted in English in the sense that our students can follow the literature in psychology. The first year of the undergraduate curriculum includes basic courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Statistics in Behavioral Sciences, Philosophy, Sociology and Foreign Language. From the second year onwards, the lessons of scientific methodology which are the building blocks of psychology programs, are beginning. In addition, our second year curriculum includes core compulsory courses in psychology such as Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology and Learning Psychology. In the third and fourth years, in addition to compulsory courses in Clinical and Industrial areas, our students are offered elective courses in various subfields of psychology and are able to identify different areas of psychology. Optional courses such as Interview Techniques, Testing and Assessment, Gender, Theoretical Approaches to Interactions in Family and Atypical Child Psychology help our students to become as close as possible to the field over the years until they graduate and to discover which of the subfields of psychology they are more interested in.
