Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The purpose of this course; To teach the basic knowledge of data communication and computer networks by focusing on the applications widely used on the Internet today.
Course Content: Basic principles of computer networks, application layer and common network applications, transmission layer, UDP and TCP services, network layer, IPv4 addressing, routing and forwarding, data-connection layer, MAC addresses, line blocks, line-switches, physical layer properties and standards.
