Course Objectives: | This course covers the elements of communication and basic communication process; communication means and dynamics of operation; communication types and characteristics of general characteristics; mass, mass communication and the effects of mass communication; mass society and mass culture; mass communication models, theories of media effects, decisive means of mass communication in the world and in Turkey, effects, media provide information about community relations. |
Course Content: | Describe the relationship of mass communication with economic, political and social processes by starting from the communication theories • Analyzing the communication types and characteristics of the general characteristics and the effects of mass media on society • Analyze the development of the media in line with historical and sociological developments • Analyzing the structure of contemporary Turkish media • To have good equipments for writing texts |
