Course Objectives: | Interaction of drugs taken for diagnosis or treatment to the body is not desirable and sometimes causes the advers effects. For a successful treatment, the nutritional status of the person must be assessed by the medication protocol applied during the treatment process. For this, the effects of nutrients on drugs must be known. In this lecture, nutrition and nutrient effects on drugs, mechanisms of action and risk factors in terms of these interactions are being given |
Course Content: | Positive and negative interactions between medicines and foods that are frequently used daily and its effect on prognosis are examined. |
