Course Objectives: | The purpose of this course is to develop learners’ knowledge and understanding of play and its importance for children and their development, definition and importance of the play the effects of play (social, emotional, psychomotor, physical, cognitive, language, personality, morality and sexuality) on the development areas, play stages and play types, play and toys, diagnosis and treatment of children general knowledge about play therapy. |
Course Content: | Definition of play, its importance, social role, play theories, description of play, recognation and implementation of play activities, planning play based activities. |
