Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: In the Creative Thinking Skills course, students comprehend the basic definitions of creativity, creative thinking and creative thinking skills; practice with techniques such as Analogical Thinking, Role Playing, Brain Storming, Divergent Thinking, realizes his/her own creativity and realizes that creativity is a developable phenomenon, learns the obstacles to creative thinking.
Course Content: Improves students' problem solving skills, tendency to group work, thinking skills that will make life easier after school and presentation skills to be applied in exams.
The visiting lecturer and the art therapist practice as a guest on the lesson.

1) Student learns the concepts of creativity, creative thinking skills. Understand creative thinking models such as Six Thinking Hats technique and brainstorming thinking technique.

1) Understands the existence of different thinking methods and different ideas. Questions own different thoughts and existing stereotypes and gains the ability to express their creative thoughts freely.

Communication and Social Competence
1) Communication skills and social life skills increase with in-class group work and dual project preparation groups. They can combine their knowledge and experience in the field with social responsibility awareness and propose and implement constructive projects for his social environment.
Learning Competence
1) Realizes the barriers of creativity and realizes that each individual is a creative individual with this awareness. Transfer the knowledge acquired in creative thinking to other disciplines in the field.
Field Specific Competence
1) Apply the concepts / methods learned during the course in business life.
Competence to Work Independently and Take Responsibility
1) The student's self-efficacy belief about creativity increases. With the different and creative thinking style they has acquired, they realizes that they can develop in many subjects in daily life. Identifies the ways of thinking and acting correctly in a team work.

1) Having advanced theoretical and practical knowledge supported by textbooks, application tools and other resources containing current information in the field.
1) Graduates are capable of performing written and oral translation in at least one field of expertise, in accordance with the existing needs of professional life.
2) To be able to use advanced theoretical and applied knowledge in the field. To be able to interpret and evaluate data, identify problems, analyze, and develop solutions based on research and evidence using advanced knowledge and skills in the field.
2) Graduates have multilingual communication skills adequate to produce written and oral translations in language categories A, B, and C (language levels according to the European Language Portfolio on a Global Scale; language A at C2 level, language B at B2 level, language/s C at B1 level).
3) To be able to conduct an advanced study related to the field independently. To take responsibility individually and as a team member to solve unforeseen and complex problems encountered in applications related to the field. To be able to plan and manage activities for the development of employees under their responsibility within the framework of a project.
3) Graduates become familiar with the intellectual and cultural traditions in the cultures speaking A, B, and C languages and obtain awareness about behaviors and attitudes specific to such cultures.
