Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The purpose of this course is to provide the ability to utilize 3D Studio Max, a software for modeling 3 dimensional spaces on digital platform for students and explain how to make visual presentations by combining the renders created in this program with the tools of Photoshop software.

Course Content: At the end of this course, the student;
• To develop the ability to use the computer as a drawing tool with the support of a second program.
• Gaining skills in perspective expression of a design or a project
• To reinforce the knowledge gained in the Technical Drawing course.
• Gain the ability to think in three dimensions
• To develop the ability to transfer projects prepared in different drawing programs to the 3rd dimension.

Theoretical - Conceptual
1) Students become familiar with the interface to 3D Studio Max software. ​
2) Students know effective methods of creating map libraries. ​
3) Students can establish the relationship between 3D Studio Max and Photoshop. ​
4) Students will gain a basic understanding of the purpose and key features of the 3ds Studio Max program.

2) Students will acquire the skill to express a design or project effectively through technical drawings.

5) Students can use commands and settings for the camera, lighting, and shadows. ​
6) Students will understand presentation techniques and settings, as well as the process of transferring renders to Photoshop and further processing.
