Course Objectives: | After providing information about the building elements and general structure, it is aimed to obtain structure, material and detailing information about roof covering types as building shell; wooden roofs, terrace roofs, vertical circulation devices; stairs, ramps, elevators, escalators. |
Course Content: | The basis for understanding, designing and drawing the “structure” and “construction” of roof systems and vertical circulation systems has been established. The user requirements of roof systems and staircase systems, structural design inputs, performance requirements expected from the element, element components, element layering models are addressed with the production process. In this process, the roof type and systems as the upper cover of the structure and the vertical circulation systems are carried out with the adaptation of applications and teachings to the project. This process is completed with the system details by designing the project within the scope of the application project with its own special projects. |
