Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course will give basic information about urban planning, types of development plans, zoning regulations, regulation of land and expropriation. Thus, students can be aware of the urban planning system in Municipalities.

Course Content: The urban planning process, authority in development plans.Types of development plan, definition of existing maps and satellite photographs.
Simple operations on the computer for urban planning.
Discussion about the Law number 3194

Program Outcomes
1) Having theoretical and practical knowledge at the basic level supported by textbooks, application tools and other resources with up-to-date information in the field based on the competences gained at secondary level.
2) To gain the ability to use the same level of theoretical and applied knowledge at the same level in an advanced education level or the same field in the field. To be able to interpret and evaluate data, to identify and analyze data, to develop evidence-based solution proposals using basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field.
