Course Objectives: | •Understanding the boundaries of the mass communication activities and the rules to be followed, •Understanding the foundations of mass communication law, •Explanation of constitutional foundations, freedom of expression and dissemination of thought, •Explaining freedom of expression and communication in international law, European human rights convention and court decisions, •to explain the legal regulations in the field of communication, |
Course Content: | The aim of the course is to establish the awareness of the rule of law and respect for fundamental rights and freedoms in the proper execution of mass communication activities. Explaining the basic concepts of freedom of expression and opinion, explaining the basics of mass communication law, explaining legal regulations and responsibilities related to print media, television broadcasting and internet. |
