Course Objectives: |
This course is designed to prepare students to define and discuss human resource management and its basic concepts; identify strategic role of human resource function in an organization; discuss and explain key functions of human resource management such as workforce planning; recruitment, selection, development, performance appraisal; succession planning, career management and retention, job evaluation, compensation; ethical issues; principles and problems of labor relations; employee-employer relations; organizational culture; diversity management; international human resource management. |
