Dersin içeriği sosyal ve kültürel antropoloji temel kuramlarıyla tanıştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu kuramların ele aldığı belli başlı kavram ve temalara genel bir bakış sağlamaktadır. Bunlar arasında kültürlenme, adaptasyon, siyasi örgütlenme, din, totem, tabu ve takas sistemleri gibi alt başlıklar bulunmaktadır. Dönem sonunda, öğrenciler, disiplinin temel unsuru olan "kültür" kavramının farklı tanımları üzerinden karşılaştırmalı bilgiye sahip olacaklardır. |
