Course Objectives: | To teach the basic principles of elderly care and to acquire the skills to carry out the care of the elderly, in the course, laboratory and application environment. |
Course Content: | Definitions about Aging and Aging-The Basic Requirements of the Elderly. - Basic Rules for Conducting Elderly Care Practices -Vital Signs, Fever, Pulse, Blood Pressure, Respiration Measurement and Recording. -Individual Hygiene And Applications In The Elderly. - Bed Making, Comfortable Hospitalization Positions - Meeting the Nutrition Requirement of the Elderly. Pressure sores and wound care in the elderly. Hot and Cold Applications in the Elderly. |
