| Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge on topics such as the definition of leadership; the trait, behavioral and contingency theories in leadership; modern and current leadership approaches; the influence of cultural and emotional factors on leadership processes; change management and the role of leaders in change; factors that cause and hinder organizational change; change models and the basic stages of organizational change; and techniques used in organizational change, as well as to develop their ability to analyze these subjects. |
| Course Content: | The definition and conceptual framework of leadership; the role and importance of culture in leadership; emotions and emotional intelligence in leadership; trait, behavioral and situational leadership theories; modern and current leadership styles such as charismatic, transformational, servant, self-leadership, and sustainable leadership; the need for change in organizations and resistance to change; planned and unplanned change; change models and the techniques used in change process |
