Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Megatrends in international trade; organizations responsible from foreign trade in Turkey; important databases used in foreign trade; import and export legislation in Turkey; T-types of export; export workflow; import legislation; import workflow; protection measures; ICC 600; ICC 522.
Course Content: At the end of the course the student will be able to:

• To explain the practical characteristics of foreign trade
• To explain import and export procedures
• To explain different types of export
• To explain and give expertise in using trade analysis tools such as Trade Map which is the main export/import markets selection portal
• To explain preparing a country analysis with an emphasis on trade relations with Turkey
