Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of course, fit students for being able to control courier sales and operational processes in service provider and/or service area positions in logistics world. The other one is teaching local applications of courier transportation, together with international framework.
Work on case and sample loadings, shipping and commercial documents which has been used in courier transportation will be able to known, defined. During course, students will be held as courier forwarder, they will be able to recognize all courier operation steps according to different incoterms in international trade. Content of course has been formed of subjects; cargo techniques, operational and legal subjects, cargo handling, cargo distribution planning, cargo operations, cargo pricing and tariffs, fleet management, cargo operators regulation, cargo acceptance and documentation, facility and handling tools.
Course Content: Technical, operational and regulatory issues of cargoes; cargo handling, distribution planning of cargo, cargo operations, tariffs and pricing cargo, fleet management, regulations of cargo operator, cargo acceptance and documentation, facility and handling equipment
