Course Objectives: | • This course aims to introduce the basic knowledge of foreign trade finance. Designed to prepare students for the use of these techniques, this course aims to identify the need for financing and to learn which financial tools to respond to needs. • It aims to examine the product in terms of all risks and transactions and examine it in depth. • This course also aims to provide awareness of the various international trade tools for foreign trade finance techniques, how to deal with the various risks that international trade transactions will create for the buyer and seller and how to select the right product. • Students will also be able to identify the ways of analyzing the main risks related to trade finance transactions. •. Students will gain knowledge and skills about what incentive systems export incentives are and how to use them. • In addition to this, information will be given on various alternative financing through buyer loans, export credit insurance, project finance and Türk Eximbank products. • In addition, they will see some other financing products such as factoring, forfaiting, leasing and admission credits. • Through the sections, individual study and case studies, it will be ensured that the relationship between theories and reality will be more fully recognized. |
Course Content: | • Analyze international financing methods of trade. • Analyzes alternative forms of financing and choosing the right financing. • Describe and list the basic issues between the financing of foreign trade and credit operations in the Turkish banking system. • Discuss and analyze the risks of various financing techniques used in international business life. |
