Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It is to give the education and training of Turkish music theory together with solfege practice, based on theoretical and scientific foundations and in accordance with a certain understanding of art.
Course Content: • Hüseynî, Muhayyer, Hicâz Family (Hicâz, Hûmayûn, Uzzâl, Zirgüleli Hicâz), Karcığâr, Simple Sûzinak Tunes from Turkish Music Simple Tones.
• Teaching the 7-beat Devr-i Hindi and Devr-i Turan, 8-stroke Düyek and Müsemmen methods and the solfegy of the works in these method structures

1) • Repetition of the general characteristics and theoretical knowledge of Turkish music. • The concept of simple makam and the repetition of previously learned simple makams. • Theoretical information of “Hüseyni” maqam • Teaching the methods of Devr-i Hindi and Devr-i Turan
2) • Theoretical information of “Muhayyer” authority • Teaching the “Duyek” method
3) • “Repetition of the theoretical knowledge of Hüseynî and Muhayyer maqams and individual reinforcement of the solfeggio of the learned works.”
4) • Introduction of “Hicâz” family maqams (Hicâz, Hûmayûn, Uzzâl, Zirgüleli Hicaz) • Theoretical information of “Hicaz” mode.
5) • Theoretical information of “Hûmayûn” maqam.
6) • Theoretical information of “Uzzâl” mode • Theoretical information of “Zirgüleli Hicaz” mode. • Teaching the “Musemmen” method
