Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge on management definition, concept, process and theories, which is the basis of the courses they will read in their department. At the same time, to explain the science of sport management with multidisciplinary aspects. The relationship with other sciences will enhance the student's analytical thinking ability. To teach students how to industrialize sport in today's world. Presenting important aspects of management by demonstrating the unique characteristics of sport management. |
Course Content: | The department of sports management is a profession which informs the students about management definition, concept, process and theories which are the basis of the courses they will read in their departments. Definition of academic fields in Sport Sciences and basic concepts and subjects of Physical Education and Sports profession. The history of the sport is discussed from the point of view of the daily development process, the philosophy and movement of the Olympism, the free time and sports relation. |
