Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide students with the ability to understand the music of the classical period and to analyze in depth the works of classical period composers. In addition, the aesthetic and cultural context of the period
It is aimed to understand and prepare an original research project.
Course Content: Understanding the musical characteristics and aesthetic understanding of the classical period.
Ability to analyze the works of important composers in the classical period.
Understand the cultural and historical context of the classical period.
Ability to create an original research project on classical period music.
