Course Objectives: | Teaching the engineering studies of irrigation and drying systems in order to obtain optimum efficiency from limited agricultural areas in order to meet the increasing food requirements due to population. |
Course Content: | Water and environment, physical properties of water and soil, water resources in irrigation, water flow in saturated and unsaturated soils, components of irrigation systems, design and evaluation of surface irrigation systems, regular and irregular flow in drainage systems, design of surface and underground drainage systems. |
