Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: • Using voice and breath correctly
• Skill-building knowledge of diaphragm breathing
• Exercises on diaphragmatic breathing
• Performance songs professional level
Course Content: General information on the necessity of voice using and breathing, studying voice exercises with correct breathing, demonstrate best performance according to the field of student inwhich he/she is going to train. Making suitable repertoire for the according to the level of the students.

1) 1- Understanding the correct trainings of developing a diaphragm breath, anatomically combining the use of diaphragm and resonator parts
2) 2- Recognizing high level vocal exercises with proper breathing, applying new vocal exercises for progress voice limits
3) 3- Applying the achievements obtained from the applied vocal exercises to given songs
4) 4. Solving intonation problems by breathing with diaphragm support, begin to apply nuances in songs

1) • Studying fundamental voice exercises on vocals, recalling exercises made in previous semesters. • According to the field of the students, for Opera Singers giving 2 new Antique Arias (G.Carissimi, A.Scarlatti, A.Caldara, v.b.) / for Musical Singers giving 2 new Musical Songs. Practicing of given exercises, sight-reading Arias/Songs with piano/instrument accompaniment and/or listening CD/DVD recordings.
2) • Training tenuto - staccato exercises with the help of the diapragm, training exercises made in previous semesters. • According to the field of the students, for Opera Singers studying 2 Antique Arias / for Musical Singers studying 2 Musical Songs with piano/instrument accompaniment . Practicing of given exercises, studying Arias/Songs with piano/instrument accompaniment and/or listening CD/DVD recordings.
3) • Training tenuto, legato - staccato exercises with the help of the diapragm, training exercises made in previous semesters. • According to the field of the students, for Opera Singers studying 1 Antique Arias / for Musical Singers studying 2 Musical Songs with piano/instrument accompaniment . Practicing of given exercises, studying Arias/Songs with piano/instrument accompaniment and/or listening CD/DVD recordings.
4) • Training tenuto, legato - staccato exercises with the help of the diapragm, training exercises made in previous semesters. • According to the field of the students, for Opera Singers studying 2 Antique Arias / for Musical Singers studying 2 Musical Songs piano/instrument accompaniment and giving another 2 Lieds / Musical songs according to the field of student. Practicing of given exercises, sight-reading Lieds/Song with piano/instrument accompaniment and/or listening CD/DVD recordings, studying other Antique Arias / Musical Songs too.

8) Midterm Exam • General information about the exercises learned in practice, which voice and breathing organs areas it affect • According to the field of the students, for Opera Singers 2 Antique Arias and 2 Lieds / for Musical Singers 4 Musical Songs singing with piano/instrument accompaniment which be run by teacher. Practicing of given exercises, studying Arias/Songs with piano/instrument accompaniment and/or listening CD/DVD recordings.
9) • Recalling all exercises made in previous semesters. • According to the field and level of the students, for Opera Singers giving 2 new Arias (from Arien Album) / for Musical Singers giving 2 new Musical Songs. Practicing of given exercises, sight-reading Arias/Songs with piano/instrument accompaniment and/or listening CD/DVD recordings.
